May you be blessed this week. Perhaps you will get to see something new in yourself or someone you love, and may you find great joy in the discovery!

Lest you think for one moment that I am the writer of that beautiful blessing, lemme tell you a little story.

I met Nicole via Thursday Thirteen. She then left a sweet comment on my Aches, Pains, and Naps post...so off I went to visit her. Nothing like a little love to motivate me to come to see you:). Once there I read her TT post for this week and while I enjoyed it immensely, it was her final line that hit me like a ton of bricks...but in a good way. Ok, maybe hit me like a ton of bricks isn't the right description. Her words imapacted me greatly. Did I do better that time? I digress...hmmm....that is the perfect name for a blog written by me. Oooppssss....I digress again.

Anyway...her words touched my heart. What a wonderful thing to wish upon some one. I took them personally and have made a mental note to self that I will let her know just what things I see new in me or others this week and how much fun I have reveling in the joy of doing so.

There is a fella in blogland and I got to meet him~

Mike is a sweet fella and it seems we have a few things in common. He stopped at my blog one other time and I hope I commented at his blog when I popped over there. Today he has let me know that he has added me to his Blogroll of Honor. How sweet is that? Mike plays the dulcimer...it is such an amazingly wonderful instrument. He, like me, is differently-abled than he used to be. He, also like me, struggles with the adjustment. Mike served in the military and supports our troops. My son is currently serving our country in the Navy. Mike is from Ohio...me too! Now, to be honest, the fact that he snagged my "Wind Beneath My Award" to give to some of the folks who have helped him in his journey through Blogland didn't hurt my feelings either:).

I think I have made a blog-buddy and that, my dear, is good news~

But whatever their assignment in your life,
On whatever the occasion,

Or wherever you need them to meet you with their gym shoes on and hair pulled back,
Or to hold you back from making a complete fool of yourself...
Those are your best friends.




It may all be wrapped up in one woman,
But for many, it's wrapped up in several..
One from 7th grade,
One from high school,
Several from the college years,
a couple from old jobs,
On some days your mother,
On some days your neighbor,
On others, your sisters,
And on some days, your daughters.



I have lots of girls in my circle and decided that they all needed to know that someone cares about them and appreciate the difference they make in my life.
