I love the times when a 'project' just falls into place! The fabric for this tote bag came from a dear friend who was moving and generously sent me two boxes crammed with fabric. I love this print! Thanx, Deb:).
The bag finished at 19" wide x 18" tall. I tack-quilted the outer fabric to the batting, made sturdy handles, and for the first time ever put in a magnetic snap! There is even a pocket inside.
I really do need to come up with some creative ideas for photographing my bags.
Clicking on the pic will open a bigger and better one.
Close-up of lining:
Now that I have been given the official 'OK' I can tell you who this bag is for. My heart-adopted Mom, Betty, will be getting this for Mother's Day. It is safe to post this cos I had to be sure it was something she would love!
Love ya...Mom~
