Great New Site~

While participating in the Blog Party sponsored by 5 Minutes for Mom, it occured to me that there was no site for Moms like me...moms with older kids. Today I found Mid-Century Modern Moms.

This is what they have to say: "What makes this blog different from all other blogs? No, it isn't unleavened bread. It's that we're all beyond diapers, terrible twos, and entering kindergarten. Way beyond, in fact. We're going to talk about the wonders of high school, with it's bizarre social life and drama. Several of us have teens that are about to start the college admissions process, and we'll be blogging about that for the next year or so. Some of us have kids that may not get to college any time soon, for a variety of reasons. We want to share our experiences with you so that you're prepared for the teen years with your own kids. Or at least as prepared as one can get with children that grow 10" in a year and eat 5 dinners with snacks in between."

The logo above is a also a link to their site. Check it out!

Here is the code for a small version of their logo. It fits in my sidebar:).

Good Afternoon Phyl,
I am glad you found Moms with older children. I need to find friends who have children beyond that who have been to college and working and married. I will look a see what is out there. I do remember the days of High School and the years of college. Enjoy those years they are great.

Love and Hugs,
Joyce from Creation In Progress
