Here are some yummy-licious recipes for Orange Crush goodies that have shown up on the group:
ORANGE CRUSH CAKE
Ingredients
1 cup shortening
1/4 cup margarine
2 3/4 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1 cup orange crush orange soda
1 teaspoon orange flavoring
1 teaspoon vanilla
ORANGE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
1/4 cup margarine
1(3ounce)package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon orange flavoring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
1 Cream shortening, margarine and sugar.
2 Add eggs, 1 at a time,mixing well after each.
3 Add orange crush, alternately with sifted flour.
4 Add Add flavorings.
5 Put into greased and floured tube pan.
6 Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
7 FROSTING: Cream margarine and cream cheese Add powdered sugar and
flavorings.
8 Spread over warm cake.
ORANGE CRUSH HOMEMADE ICE CREAM
1 two liter Bottle of Orange Crush
2 cans Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 cans evaporated milk
1 small can of crushed pineapple, drained
Combine Eagle Brand, evaporated milk and pineapple; mix well. Pour into ice
cream freezer container. Slowly add Orange Crush. Make ice cream as usual.
