My Navy Man just left to report to his new duty station(New Orleans) after 2 weeks leave:(. He is going to be 1,052 miles away from me! I am so very proud of him and I hugged him extra long. I wish I could tell you that he did not see me crying when I went out on the porch to salute him as he drove away. Being a parent is such a bittersweet thing. How can my heart be breaking and swelling with pride at the same time?
