How to have an *organic*experience

Ok, anyone who has ever seen a commercial for Herbal Essence Shampoo will understand the title. For the rest of the world, I offer this:

*organic* is not the correct English adjective, but in an attempt to keep things family-friendly, I have taken liberty with said English language.

On to the post...I love saltine crackers and I love butter. I love them even more when they are together. I am not much of a salt eater, but saltless saltines? Are you kidding me? I am certain that somehow saltines sans salt is against my religion. And no, I do not have a scripture to back my assertion.

Anywhoooo, I just went in search of something to put in my mouth that would ultimately shut my tummy up. It grumbles way too much these days and I do tire of listening to it. Lo, and behold, right there on the pantry counter laying side by side were soft(read yummy) butter and an unopened pack of saltines. I began to salivate. I could not locate a butter knife fast enough.

As I picked up my first(of many) crackers and began to slather that soft yummy butter on top, I stopped. If I put the butter on top I could potentially be wasting the salted top. OH, now I am not one to waste the salty top of a delicious crunchy cracker. So, I did the only thing an occasional respectable salt lover would do. I buttered the bottom of that cracker. Then I placed my creation into my mouth top down...on my tongue.

Now, bear with me. Here is where the organic experience happened. When that salty cracker top hit my tongue and the butter met the roof of my mouth...whoa... it was like well...organic.

No one felt used, no feelings were hurt, and there I was...one sastisifed woman. The explanation for why I continued to eat buttered crackers until my son ran off with the crackers? I figure if it's good I should do it again:). Which may just explain the population explosion around here.

Note to daughter who is likely respond to this post with, "Mom, you have issues" : Honey, lemme get something straight right now. I AM an issue!

Giggles,

I love crackers and peanut butter. I need to make sure I have something to drink handy though, but they are worth it. I have a surprise for you. Stop by for a visit when you get the chance.

LOLOL!!! Too funny...I love saltines and butter too never thought of them as organic LOL! I'm trying to lose some poundage here though so I did NOT appreciate your very explicit description...my mouth is watering and I'm saying to myself...those bran crackers without butter ARE good too and my taste buds are like NOT!!!
